Is it just males that intentionally set out to find someone and emotionally shatter a person as many times as possible?

This happened to me a year ago. It took six months for me to cope in normal everyday situations and a further two for me be completely over it. Or so I thought.....

Right now I'm stuck spending two weeks working closely with this same guy. Within 4 hours, I was a wreck. My boyfriend tried to get close to me and I ended up running from him and crying in a bathroom. That is not normal. (Come to think of it, I wonder if he'll ever read this...) Lord give strength
